Alan, are you running a decat with your Prodrive ECU? Still not checked my ECU, but it is supposed to be classic PPP (Prodrive) version. Worried after what Tony said about det issues. Mines not doing many miles, and Mrs driving it 90% of the time which means it's off boost. (Unless she's a secret maniac!) Just can't really afford to remap at this moment in time with the cost of ECUTEK licence + mapping. Tony, would it be safer to get hold of a standard '99 UK Turbo ECU and swap them over to run with the decat? or not much difference?

Hi Proby
Unfortunately mate i am fully de-catted with the Prodrice ECU.TBH i'm just taking it easy and not using full throttle especially on the Mway's.
Gonna be like this for a while until i can afford the remap.I'm not sure what effect changing the ECU to a standard one will have on the car??? Make it slower etc etc? What i'm wondering is, i thought the whole point of the Prodrive ECU was to have higher tolerance levels due to the extra power??
