yeah ive seen some carbon fibre markers that i like and prob would go for a smoked repeater, headlights are easy to get out 3 10mm nuts for the lights them selfs the grill and side pieces just have clips that pop out, took me 10 - 15 mins to get both lights out
to split the lights i put them in the oven for 10 mins at 80 degrees had to take a screw out the back then used a flat head to prise apart, then theres 2 screws that hold the insert in gave them 4 or 5 coats of paint, waited till they was dry enough and put the insert back in, then put both parts of the light back in the oven for 5 to 10 mins before i put them back together

i cant take credit for the idea of painting the lights there was a lad on LADS - Lancashire And District Subaru owners club that did it first and it looked good so i had a go as well,
