Arrow Door Defenders - Possible Groupbuy

Guys

I've been speaking to the UK distributor for Door Defenders and have managed to obtain a sample of the product.

Described as : The Doordefender guards both car and truck doors against, paint scratches, door dings and door dents wherever you park.

Being a magnetic car door guard, it is not permanently stuck to your car’s expensive paint, making it a perfect temporary door guard that you can use when you need to. When not in use, it conveniently stows away

Fitted

Both the Canadian inventor and the UK distributor are very keen in organising a special Groupbuy price for us .

More details can be found at Doordefender car door guards - A magnetic car door guard or truck door guard. and they are available in (Black, Blue, Silver, Red and White)

What are your thoughts guys....?????

Good idea, but what stops people stealing them in car parks - which is where they're going to be used?

nice idea, but the kids will find that great fun to pull off the car and start hitting each other with..... with the cable between them as well, they're like a set of giant nunchucks

Spot on mate . it has a wire coming off with a rubber ball on the end which you throw into the car and close the drivers door.

As for them being robbed, I recon it depends on the area you park in.

Nice idea but personally I think they will be yanked off by all and sundry and look like a pair of tampons on the side of your car

How big IS your woman??

Basically, they're a good idea. I've considered some foam sheet hanging down the side. I've got the Subaru door strips on mine and they've saved me some dents, although not always effective.

very good idea - but as already said they wouldnt last 5 mins and would also attract attention to your car "look at the state of that" next minute keyed down the side

Having seen them in the flesh, I must say the Security Cable system will definitely stop people taking them off your Scooby . But then again it does depend on where you park your car!

Personally, I think if its on your drive or at work - cant think of many people trying to pull them off.

More information can be found on the UK web site The Harvey Company's Doordefender

Discounts will all depend on numbers interested . I may be able to get a few samples for JAE, Japfest etc......

i think you better off with a oblong of magnetic sign making material

get it from a signmakers shop, they might even spray it to your colour -- hence would look very discreet

ultimately prob not as effective -- but not far off

Probably, then they'll also get dirty and scratch it some more

Some bollox will just damage the door then.

The first ****** to see them will pull them off, in doing so the "security wire" that attaches them to the car door post will scratch and mark the edge of the door panels. These are for home use or in a private car park.... not for general use IMO.
