I have ordered a new STi (non Prodrive, the expected ETA is end of May is this resonable ?

I have also read recently that the best fuel you can use is Shell Optimax, which in a Impreza could give up to 40 Bhp over standard 95 Ron. Is this true ?

dunno about 40bhp unless your being towed by a low flying aircraft after you fill up....(40bhp would mean a chip and exhaust system !!) well to most of us...I've heard they can be ordered now with end of march delivery...

I had to fill mine up with standard 95 ron the other day (couldn't find any super or optimax and I was running on fumes). Noticed a performance drop, but wouldn't like to say it was 40bhp

End of March is for the prodrive version, if I recall rightly.
