Dose anyone know for sure if you need a 3rd brake light on a 06
To pass the mot

I can see if it is fitted and not working would fail

But if you do not have one would it fail

Thanks for any help

I think they a high level brakelight is required on all cars after 1995 or thereabouts, but as for MOT's depends on how strict the tester is.

I don't think you need one. How else would those who take the spoiler off get away with it
