ScoobyNet Merchandising.....
I recently read a post regarding having ScoobyNet jackets with our user names on them for any meets that we attend. The response was that most would feel stupid with their names across their fronts/backs, especially Dr Evil I think
I attended my first event on Sunday (Dales Run - Excellent day), but it was difficult to know who you were talking to, or who's car was who's!! (Except buddy's
)
It would be good to have your username somewhere, so how about having them displayed in the rear windows (or front for STI's) similar to how they do it in the BTCC. These could be easily removed at the end of each meet, but would look great during the days event. Simple white lettering.
Anyone???

Yeah I spoke with Dales about this at the pub after Sunday's "diversion". I don't think "Bumcrack" would be all that keen on the idea, for example.
You could always do what I do and tell people who you are. Or make an **** of yourself by driving around the wrong way or something.

Don't think I have too many problems with people recognising me, mainly as the black beast is somewhat, umm, distintive, mainly as it's filthy
Do think that some name badge type thing might be good though, did have some trouble at brands with trying to work out who's who. I've had a few people speak to me, using my name, and I've had no idea what their name is, and I'm too polite to ask! Maybe I just need to be a bit more rude and ask them!

Sorry to revisit this topic but I noticed at the Oulton track day that Salsa-King, Logiclee, and Craigamungos had all done this with the window stickers. They looked superb and it was the main reason for me knowing who Logiclee was and hence having a chat.
What I wanted to know, aimed at all three above, was where you had them done and how much????

Just a thought, either than or we can all have matching anoraks and rucksacks, and pretend that we're a German tour party!!

Damn! Andy beat me to it. Was thinking about this last night. Though I must say I though a nice little enamel badge might be better than a tack placky one, but then placky ones would be cheaper.
How about a special muppet one as well
