What Dump Valve?
Hi, was wondering whats the best dump valve i can get for my impreza 98 version 4? I dont want anything which sounds too over the top but something noticeable. Was thinking about the HKS SSQV but been watching a few vids on youtube and it sounds pretty loud? Any suggestions and where i can get them from cheap enough. Preferably something with a fitting kit. Thanks

I have a Turbosmart re-circulating dump valve which I would argue is the least chav system of all firstly:
as when you are driving normally you can not really hear it just a faint psst but when you open the car really up the dump valve is nice and loud and atmospheric
secondly it actually is useful on the car as opposed to most Dump valves as it is a re-circ type so the engine is not running rich (which can occur with normal purely atmospheric DV's) when fitted. All the cars sensors etc contine reading correctly with re-circ
thirdly its adjustable as you car gets to higher state of tune.
Dont think you can go wrong with either the HKS, Blitz or Turbosmart highend dumpvales cost a bit more but worth it. (my opinion sure others will say £9.99 items are great)
