HKS SSQV....which colour insert ?????
Iv just had fitted a HKS SSQV and the sound isnt what i thought it would be, I no you can get different colour inserts for them, the insert in mine is Purple, but does anyone no what the sounds are like from the other inserts or what colour you have in yours ?????

Mine had the purple insert too, it made a loud air dump noise. I think gold is the other colour. Don't know the sound difference though, sorry. They were approx £15 for a different insert.

I think they come with the purple insert - pretty sure my old one did.
I can't really see it making much difference. Bit like the nut on the back of them I turned mine all the way in and all the way out and didn't notice any difference.

Do these dump valves suit a car with a higher boost??? because the other scoobies i have heard them on its a much more crisp sound.....Mine just sounds like a squeaking mouse lol
