Obviously a track day or driving course is a good move but does anyone know of, say an old airfield, that can be hired for a few hours?

well, I am mostly in Surrey but can also be in the midlands or Essex fairly easily, any ideas?

Think someone was going to try and organise a day out there but not heard any more of it.

The tarmac track is 1.25 miles long.
You can take your own car on for the full day prices from £45+vat
Or they do an instructor one(in your car), where you get 1-2-1 tuition from 9.30 - 12.30 then the rest of the day on your own

Plan on trying the circuit out soon, just as soon as I've had chance to run the new car in that I get on Friday!

Bruntingthorpe Airfield - 2 mile straight plus wiggly connecting bit My P1 168.4 mph GPS verified- 155mph Limiter?!?- and it wouldn't go any faster.
