hi all, im new to the scooby net scene, im currently lookin to buy a scooby preferably an o3 or o4 plate wrx, im currently drivin a corolla t sport but wanted a subaru for years, jst a few questions to ask, 1 is there anything i need to look out for when buyin an impreza mechnically and body work in general?. 2 can you change the flat spoiler for a sti wing and how easy if so? 3 whats the best exhaust induction and dump valve to go for?, and also what are the advantages or the prodrive kit apart from the power hike?, cheers

Not wanting to sound an ****, but if your going to be modding it for more power, why not go for the STI? Will be more money initially, but will have more power.....

i only want to spend around 7k max and cant find any decent ones within my price range?

hmm, might struggle for a 2003 STI for £7k yeah

Although, were you meaning buying a WRX for £7k then modding? As you could save the modding money and buy the STI out right?

lol. iv jst looked at that one myself, hadnt stumbled across it till jst, does look like a nice one but thats the only one thats there really other than that its the bug eye headlight ones around that price,

7k you can pick up a nice blob wrx, or bug sti. get the bug sti as it'll be easier to mod in the future

iv looked at the blob ones on autotrader but cant make my mind up bout them, i do like them jst prefer the 03 shape, but some of the blob shape are more expensive than the newer shape,

STI is the way to go
I have the same budget and would prefer a Blob but if I cant find the right one a Prodrive Bug it will be

an sti is my preferance defo, jst haft to c what comes up at the right time, my car is goin up for sale next month when im not as busy with work, but direct line wont insure me till im 25 in april but will give chance to mod it if needed before i can drive it,
