Default SEE THROUGH AIRLESS TYRES,WILL THEY CATCH ON???

As title:

Airless See-Through Tires

Look a bit weird, the police stinger makes no difference to them either.

They are really old, I remember seeing them when I had my civic back in 03. I think they are demo's with no sidewall to demonstrate how they work but in production they have a sidewall to blend in with normal tyres

They're called Tweels.

Michelin Corporate - News

Looks like a good idea for industrial type machinery but can't see it catching on for road cars.
