Default To anyone whose fitted mudflaps to their newage

Thinking of fitting my mudflaps myself as I got day off tommorow.

Have a few questions.
Looking at the instructions (Performance Creations) it looks like I have to drill the inner arches for the last bolt. Will this cause any unwanted leaks anywhere?

Also, What's the best thing to use on freshly drill bits to avoid exposure to the elements. Will be popping down to Halfords, so recommendations of the best product would be much appreciated.

Blob of Hammerite Waxoyl is what I use. Only needs to be a small pilot hole. Make sure you line up the back to the front properly, nothing worse than wonky flaps.

Yes, you have to drill. Remove the wheels to make things much easier. No leaks. Waxoyl should do the trick/
