Subaru : Subaru impreza 2000 awd turbo
Was just on the phone to the lad. Seems a genuine car. Very smart
Im quite interested in it. He is just sending me some engine bay pics the now
p.S 2 people are wanting to come see it Saturday

Seems clean enough, I guess it all comes down to seeing it in the flesh. But in current times it looks like a realistic price for a car like that.
Ps. I cant shift my STi for love nor money, which is a shame as its amazing.

He just sent me pictures
Just had a new vortex system from scoobyworld for £365 an a downpipe for £160
In the pics the 2 rear arches have 2 bubbles on each side. Really small but he sent pics with a tiny but or rust coming out of one of them..
Could be a barganing point.
Its interior is VERY clean.
Been chatting with the lass all night an looking at different cars

yep looks a tidy car lots of bargains to be had at the moment, and u dont have to spend 3k to get a good classic and it will not fall in bits after a week if u only pay 2k for it
do ur checks mate and u will find a nice one for 2k

I was on SIDC an a lad said this about the above car.
I dont doubt the lads comments just curious to what other people have to say in regards to the mods

Firstly, that car has been fitted with a TD05 and STI 3 port solenoid yet he has had no boost controllers or mapping done to the car??/ STAY AWAY!! The car came with a TD04, and 2 port solenoid, and changing both these without sorting the fueling and mapping is BAD NEWS!!
Probably why the car is cheap!! im sure its knocking now!"

i think the guy is wrong i was thinking that the td05 was the right turbo for that car mine is a k reg and has a tdo5 turbo .
check this link mate gives all specs
if the car ur looking at is a jdm it has td05 turbo

right check the link mate first uk cars had td05 turbo and 208bhp
as more m reg being old and u can find a much newer one if anyone see a good uk classic for around 2k then send or post the link and lets help the guy find a good car for his money

Right guys im abandoning that silver car.
Found ALOT more so i have a good choice
COuple of questions
What should a standard uk boost to if it has a boost gauge,induction,dump valve,stailess exhaust an decat - I notice these are the very common mods
What should i look out for apart from the smoke on start up,mayonaise in oil
Aything else. im taking someone with me but i want to know aswell so i can check
How can i tell if the car is "tired" an about to die
