Been to various Car washes by hand for a fiver etc.

But what's the stuff they spray on the car after the main handwash that makes the water bead off before the a chammy dry.

Probably some highly potent wax stripping cleaning agent before they get there 10 hour grit sodden shammy and inflict scratches all over your pride and joy.
Avoid like the plague and get your **** up to do it ye'sen
