You know it,anyone who thinks the new Scooby is good looking.....well all i can say is i shudder to see your other half..
I bet most on here will disagree for the obvious reasons...
Come on peeps i admit the Scooby is superior to the Sapphire Cossie, not on performance or looks....but technology and handling......can you admit the EVO IS a better car??????

Oh no, not another one of those "please bite" threads
YES I do rate the Evo. But as an everyday mode of transport its not quite there. Same with the Lotus Elise. Though at least they are reliable and you don't need a diploma in welding to keep it on the road. (Those Cossies are getting on a bit nowadays)

Whatever your name is,
I have to agree, the Evo appears to be the superior motor. Fundamentally, the Evo is based on the rally car whereas the Subaru is a very well developed road car. The Evo wins both in power and dynamics – although this is reflected in the price premium.
I have to say, I am ain't too keen on the looks of the Evo. Whilst I’m not keen on the gold wheels and vivid blue paint work of the Subaru I think it has more character and, dare I say, has evolved with time very nicely. I’m not sure what you have done to your Cossie’, but, in standard form, the Subaru beats it hands down performance wise.
As for comparing looks with one’s other half, how is plain Jane, she must have to wear lots of make-up to cover her ageing complexion.

...and here's me thinking that the EVO is based on the Mitsibushi Cedia - a Mondeo like saloon from Japan.
...and here's me thinking that the Scooby is based on Subaru Impreza - a Focus like saloon/hatch from Japan.
Mmmm - neither of these are exclusively rally cars.
Never mind - still prefer the Scoob tho even tho' the Evo VI is certainly a fabulous car if you can afford the servicing, repairs, fuel, oil, etc

I believe the Evo probably is a better car.
Bald rick, shouldn't you be out car jacking someone.
I reckon the old shape imprezza was better looking than the Evo VI, but the new shape looks a bit cr@p compared to the Evo VII.
My girlfriend looks like Robert Palson from fight club.

evo similar to a lotus elise on the practicality stakes??? pleeeeze. lotus has 2 ickle seats and just enuf storage space for one racing helmet. Lets keep it real here. The evo is almost as practical as the scoob. The lotus is not close.
slightly harder ride - but not unpleasaent, indeed I would say nicer (but I'm biased), more frequent fuel stops - so? more frequent services - so? Neither car is cheap. You could probably run eiether on a similar budget. A hardcore enthusiast would spend a sh1tload on either, a more casual enthisiast could get by with not spending too much on either.
At the end of the day you could always sort out an additional tank so that it would last even longer than the mighty scoob between pitstops
