Default Quick turbo Question

Do any of the classics have tdo4 turbos. I buying one for my 2002 bugeye wrx and the person says its of a classic and will be the same as mine.

Is this true.

Hi Cube,

AFAIK, all automatic classics had TD04's and also the classic wagons were fitted with TD04's as well.

I am pretty sure that is right

My MY99 had a TD04L [not sure what the L is]

Quite sure the TD04 is fitted to the newage WRX also.

Thanks for the replies. I had a look at the turbo and it does say td04 on it. So i told him to fit it. Is £130 labour alot to pay.

Really depends if the turbo has ever been off or not as the bolts (1 especially) can be a nightmare. Anything from 1 hr labour to half a day is possible.
