The glass on my rear windows (MY99 saloon) is scratched around the point the window opens down to, when the cars washed its quite noticable. Question, is there anything to sort it or do you think I should have a word with the dealer (going on sat morn anyway) and try for a warranty replacement? Will they do that? Reason I ask is the car is 3 in April so I've got till then before the warranty is gone, are they likely to do it on a car of that age?

Neil,
Yeah, it's a known fault. Both my fronts are getting replaced under warranty in the next few weeks. Just waiting on the Dealer making the claim through IM.

Update.
Well, went to Mill Lane and they said that glass has never ever been covered under warranty, not even on brand new unregistered cars
They said they had never got a claim through successfully about replacing scratched glass, so basically I'd have to pay for the window if I wanted it done.
GW2000 had his replaced at SGT but Mill Lane asked if the garage had done it as a goodwill thing at their expense rather than claim on the warranty........
