in todays market..

75k miles
forged build
decatted

dont really know much on the spec but just an average?

If you need to sell £7K.

If its mint and you can hang on up to £10K. Quite apparent only a few will part with nearly 10K for a P1 considering the time these cars are on Pistonheads.

Consider you can get an 06 STI with high miles for about the same.

Well this guy came into my work today with one for sale. Wanted 12k... I did think it was a bit overpriced imo

You just have to look at prices of Lancia Integrales to see how sellers are still able to dictate the prices.

The problem P1s have is that A) Type Rs are cheaper and have more bits B) Unless its had a rebuild it puts people off and even then it depends who rebuilt it C) the prices compete with newage STIs D) because there are other models that can provide perfectly good starting points to build something a bit special which will equal or surpass the P1 in its standard form.

Don't get me wrong, a P1 is on my list of wants but 10K+ just isn't going to happen.

Your right, but none looks so good are are equipped so well straight out of the box.

there was one recently in autotrader for under 7k with less than 100k miles on the clock (cant remember the mileage but thing it was around 80 thou)
