Default Hi everyone

Im looking to buy a subaru impreza sti and have come across one but nobody i know can give me any usefull infornation about them.

Its a WRX STI 03 model with 33,500 miles on the clock. Its totally mint with no scratches or dents and interior is also mint. What im confused about is that the owner says it has the prodrive kit fitted but he doesnt have the certificate for it. On the service documents it says SUBARU IMPREZA WRX STI PRODRIVE, and also states prodrive on the origional purchase documents. But it doesnt say it in the log book.

How else can i find out if it has the prodrive kit fitted?? From what i see it has the wheels exhaust and mats, but dont know what else.

Also is £7000 a good price?

Thanks for any help in advance

£7000 sounds about right, as for the ppp im not sure, id guess that if it has the exhaust, id check the ecu to see if it says prodrive on it. have a look on the forum im sure there is a sure fire way of telling.

I had same issue. Had to phone D+Subaru with VIN no. Happily they confirmed it was PPP. First check is the exhaust. If you know what you are looking for you can also check if the down pipe is the Prodrive one with sports cat (it looks different but difficult to explain ). Then if you are feeling adventurous you can rip up the passenger footwell carpet and check the ECU - will have PPP or similar written on it.

Simplest just to call Subaru

The ad implies it does not have PPP to me??? Just says prodrive exhaust and wheels - can't really see if the exhaust looks right or not. Has he said it was PPP'd?

Did you win it?
