By popular demand, here is the 2nd roll in its entirety.

This is a new concept & allows on-line ordering. Price includes pic,vat & delivery.

Anyhow enjoy the pics - god knows why I took so many of Dinge

Personally, don't think it makes any difference about the number plates....

Can some one explain the revilance of blankin them out.....

you drive on the road with them, open to the public all day everyday.......

Point being security....

Hmmmm if someone wants to nick your car they will nick it....makes no difference if you blank this out at all.......

It's not so much security, more a case of if you come to sell it then someone can see that it's been on a track.

And dealers read this board too, and may squirm out of warranty claims.

Still, if a prospective buyer asks if it's been on track, it is illegal to mis-describe a car.

Isn't it illegal to lie when sellin a car.
"No its not been on the track" - even if it has....

I won't be buyin a car of you....

Thats a fair point but honesty is the best policy.....

So how well does the little Civic Type-R hold up against the big Turbo onslaught?
Has to be the finest 1.6 litre engine ever built.
The photo's look amazing, and have made me want to get onto a track more than ever, though when it comes time to sell, it'll have been owned by one little old lady who used it to go to Tesco's occassionally

Puff.
Would it not be courteous to remove reg numbers unless you have the owners consent before posting pics on here?
Just a thought.....

Stef.

Cool

IntegraR LOL, one careful owner. I was down on power on Saturday due to VTEC coming in at 7500RPM so coming out of some of the corners i was not as quick. I passed a few Scoobs, but in general i had the track to myself for most the time, late on was quiet which is when i spent most my time on track. I had a lot of comments about the sound of my car at 9000RPM screamin past the pits.

Late on in the day i had a problem with changing 3rd to 4th, when doing so i heard a quiet crunching noise????, so i had to slow down my gearchange to prevent noise. Anyone have any ideas?? I have since tested on the road and seems fine, time and time again. I was using slicks at the time, somebody mentioned it could be engine movement??? Doubtful. Brakes as usual were stunning outbraking most cars.

Hopefully wont need a new Clutch or Gearbox, but if i have to it will have to be an upgraded race one.

Unfortunatly i am unable to attend the meet this weekend due to work, but why dont you come up to Donnington, and come out for a few laps, with a hopefully a few new bits.

Recon Ill give Donno a go Type-R, so long as its a suitable beginners track.
Have you made any mods to your R?
Im thinking Exhaust/ Intake, but I know for a fact my insurance company would assault my bank account if I did, so for now, Ill wait.
Pity about your track probs, 7500RPM V-Tec? that mustve been a pain, and that crunching in the gears sounds like perhaps the clutch wasnt engaging fully, though my expertise is limited to the extent of being non existant.
My folks live in Leicester, so I go up occassionally and stay over with them, so the next Donno day, Ill try and coincide a visit to the folks with a visit to the track.

Ahhh, car is feeling really unhealthy today, with VTEC controller on. Switched off for now.

- Blitz Exhaust
- Apexi Filter
- 1155 Pads
- No rear seats
- Rear strut bar (to Come)
- some more mods (Negotiating at the mo)

Donnington is a great track to start with, although is not the best track for our R's.
