Default Remap cost with new VAT?

Am I right in saying that a remap will now cost £500+15% VAT=£575?

Also, does it cost extra to have the 'fake' anti lag mapped in?

Correct! I'm not bothered if I get it or not. Its more of a "if its going for nothing, then I'll take it" thing.

Also, are the remaps now £575 all in?

Should be charged at 15% VAT but it seems that alot for companies recently have put their prices up so the drop in VAT has been totally wiped out . In fact I've been looking for some parts for my Scooby and the prices are more expensive now than they were before the VAT reduction

yes you should get more mpg, more throttle response, usually 330 to 340bhp and similar torque depeding on if vf35 or vf34 car and exhaust mods fitted if any.

pops and bangs on overrun.. sounds nice but nothing else.

Simon do the pops and bangs have any negative side? More fuel, less power, not good for the engine etc.

I think it just needed re-visiting with your laptop again as it was holding the revs too

Hopefully when your passing again on the M1 up to scoobyworld I can grab your expertise

By god was it good fun having the odd flame out the back

Am I right in thinking that you need a decat to achieve the pops and bangs on overun? or could this be mapped in on a car with a sports cat fitted?

Thanks, been trying to decide where to start tuning wise and it seems that for really decent power gains decat is the way forward.
