Default Whats a Version 1 STI Impreza Worth Mint?

Hello there ive just seen a subaru that i like it might not be to everyones taste but i like it, its a version 1 STI, so its preety rare, its no.80/200, its got fair few mods, inc lightened flywheel, turbo back exhaust, induction kit, dumpvalve, alloy wheels, lowered, and a nice body kit in my opinion its completely immaculate with 85k on it, any one got any rough figures on what it should be worth?? as i cant seem to find many to price compare with.

The bodykit devalues the car IMO.

I think your car is on Barryboys at the moment.
As it is it's not going to sell at any sort of premium, and here's why:

The car will appeal to the younger market, these are the kind who will by a car based only on the badge and the price.
To acheive any premium based on it being an sti type 1 you would need to have it absolutely bog standard and then find a purist who wants the same.
Iirc David at API may have bought sti 1/200 but that car really was mint and had historic value.

Couple of grand or less to someone who wants an STI V1.

Bit more maybe for said barryboy type.

You would be struggling to get 3500 - 4000 for one, there are a lot of newer cars going for that kind of cash.

I think up to 2500 is more realistic.

I had a mint, unmolested STi Wagon in red, sold for about 3K and hat's when values were still good.
You might get upto 2k but that would depend on finding someone who wants it, the body kit will put most off

Hardly.

V3 STI up to £4K, up to £6K for a V6 STI

Anything else is unlikely to sell unless in exceptional condition or a special edition worth buying.

IMO car is worth tops 3k. Should not be too hard to source and replace the bumper and side skirts and remove the scoop on the roof. It will look nice then. wheels are nice. loose the wipers!

Subaru Impreza Wrx Sti - Japan car import and Japanese used car exports [ tradecarview ]

Can anyone purchase a car from this website and have it shipped over here?

Some of the cars are more expensive there than they are here. Thought of importing a V5/6 STI RA.

I do own No.1 of the first 100 STi limited edition cars - in Repsol Blue.

It ought to be in a museum in Japan - not here in the UK

It is just completing a full bare body up rebuild to get to back to a standard as an original factory car. The whole thing has been done and EVERY single part has been taken off / apart cleaned and either painted or replated.

The engine, box, diff, suspension, brakes; - everything, have been rebuilt, properly.

When [ if ] I sell it, l will want ' stupid ' money for it. I might take it to display only at " Scoobyshoot out " to let it be seen.
