Yes they will still produce it, for example the 2003/2004 model spec c was never used as a grp A car, they used the standard STI, but it is a grp N car first and foremost

I dont think they'll release a spec c as the current sti has already been homologated for group N rallying. They might have done that in 2003/04 but with the path t subaru has chosen and the economic climate how many people will buy a new spec c for rallying when they can buy a used sti which will be cheaper.
I hope they do ,but i personally dont think it will happen.

Well its already developed so it would be a waste not to bring it into production
and it is also cheaper new than the normal STI is (and has those subtle upgrades over the normal STI).
They actually shift a lot of spec c's for motorsport, we may not see as many special editions, but i do think we will see the spec c
(fingers crossed!!)

Will only be cheaper if it's theres a motorsport version. Anyhow i hope they do release one because my fire has died out with this new hatchback.
I saw a spy vid not so long ago (damned if I can find it now though!) of a black MY08 Impreza going around the 'Ring. The car was definitely not a standard STI as you could clearly make out silver 6 pot calipers on the front, just like the ones that come on an RA-R.
It was claimed car in the text that accompanied the vid that the car was an MY08 Spec C undergoing testing and that it had no roof vent to further conceal its identity.
But, my opinion sides with Immy here. I just have a feeling that we will not see a Spec C in MY08 guise.
Oh, and my money is on the car in the vid I mentioned being an S205.
I'll try to find it again later on when I have more time.

with the Price of the £ against the YEN Jap cars are going to be @@@@@@@@ expensive
20th Aniversary 4,126,500 yen = £30K so will be well over £40K by the time you get it to the UK
IIRC IMHO

How long should I wait and see though?? Ian said he would build me a type 25 now, based on a type 20 with the 2.5 cossie engine in it. That car is a jdm but i would prefer a spec c with -100 kg of weight!!
