Default Free car anyone?

Just walked the kids the short journey of 100yds to school and I walked past 2 cars running/de-iceing with no owner around.

When will these people learn?

Free fortune anyone?

The other day I was walking past our local Barclays Bank. There was a Securicor van parked illegally on the pavement on the opposite side of the road (and pointing the wrong way down a one-way road!), with the engine running and nobody in tha cab!

As I am not a Barclays customer, I wish someone had driven off in it!

some alarm/imobilizer systems have them built in start locked systems. as soon as you open the door, smash a window or try tamper with the car it turns off the engine and sets the alarm off. quite a good idea. but so is a coat and a wooly hat lol

does the remote start cut out if the proxi sensors detect something or only when the inner zone is activated? quite fancy having it fitted but if some one has to break the glass for it to cut out don't think i would want the risk
