Default Dont drink & drive

Dont drink & drive we have all seen the ads, papers, tv and so on.
Well got a phone call from my mate about his car I will let the pics tell the story.

The story goes he got woken up this morning around 3ish with the police banging at his door. His neighbour called them out after witnessing his car getting hit { the blue astra }.
The neighbour told the police she seen the red car weaving about the road and hit the blue car. Then the red car continued driving a few yards and park up. A woman got out and stagger into a house.
The police went to the house and done the usual stuff and was told no one of that description was in the house.

Its taken the police till around 5ish to track down the driver of the red car, where did they find her in the house they where at the first place. It turns out the driver is a copper up on holiday visiting her parents.

Personally I hope they throw the book at her as she should know better.

Depends on how quick the press get hold of the story

ATEOTD it's not just D&D, but leaving the scene and perverting the cause of justice or obstruction for the woman's family

Was she proven to be drunk in the end?

Looks like she was simply trying to read her map which is on the passenger seat, crashed and the shock made her walk funny.

Or she could have been drunk???

All Ive heard from my mate is the police have been to see the girl twice now and the police have told my mate its an on going case at the moment.

Not sure about the map bit, she was a local stayed in her parents for many years. Then moved away to join the police.
