Hi guys got an 05 sti had 05 wrx was looking about the car and noticed the shocks on the 05 sti were black is this correct or has someone changed them i thought they should be red?

and what colour should the springs be black?

Thanks im sure 02 03 and 04 sti have red shocks?

and that in 2005 the wrx`s got black inverted strut shocks did they start to use the black shocks on the sti too?

yeah they have black shocks, if you clean the springs off there will be purple spots on them too. The prodrive springs are red for the sti.

sound nice one got the prodrive springs sitting waiting to go on.
Need to replace the back shocks going to fit the kyb ultra gold see how long they last lol Cheers greig

Mine are black on my 05 Spec C so they must be a standard item
