Mods - please feel free to move this to the correct section - but I wanted to post here for maximum exposure for at least 5 minutes......

When braking from high speed - I get a high pitched warbling sound that gets progressively louder the harder you press the pedal....AND THEN LOCKS ALL FOUR WHEELS.

No vibration through the wheel or brake pedal at any speed or anything, just symptoms described above.....

car is at dealers at the moment, having new short block, but this is the icing on the cake really.....

any ideas / theories welcome.....

Nor really a techie kind of guy but I reckon you should check the brake pads. Sounds like they are worn through and the noise is them scraping against the discs (IMHO). I had a similar screech kind of thing on my last car and that's what was wrong. If it is that, then you need to check soon or you may need new discs too!
