Default Replacing drivers side glass

Had my wondow smashed last week on drivers side front door, no idea how to replace it as never done a window before, anyone know of any how to's knocking about at all, or could offer advice? Been told its not an easy job

I need to do this on my blobeye too where you getting your glass from and how much btw m8?

A member off here offered me some for 70 quid posted cause he needed alot of bubblewrap what you think?

Not done it on a Scoob before, but its pretty straightforward if you can get the door trim panel off without breaking the clips! Once inside, the ones I've done have had the glass bolted to brackets inside the door. Just unbolt and wiggle it until free.

Saying that, frameless doors might be different (and maybe easier as there's nothing in the way). I have done an MR2 once with frameless doors and lining it up afterwards was tricky.

I got autoglass out to do mine, as it's a PITA to undo the hangers n windy/scissor bar things that hold the glass in place. Then once bolted up, you have to somehow align it with the top of the door/roof. Except there isn't anything to align with as it's a frameless door.

Getting the door card off is the easy part. Oh n dont forget a vacuum cleaner for all the broken glass it gets everywhere
