Default WRX 30K servicing cost

Hi all

Wanted to know what others have paid for 30k service on a MY05 WRX.

Mine rushed me 590 quid yesterday

was wondering if this sounds right ?

I took it to an independant specialist who is well known on here

I just wasn't expecting it to cost that much.

I would not have expected it to cost that much.
I paid £395 (inc VAT) almost two years ago.
What's the breakdown?
Anything such as pads or discs bumping up the cost?

Sorry I made a typo

it was 390 not 590 - so that would seem about right then

the perils of typing in a message as your boss is approaching across the office !

Depends what you had done to it, mine was about £250 if I remember correctly.

I can't fault the service, it was A1, I was just curious about a comparison figure. I don't mind paying a bit more to have an expert do the job though. I'd never take it to a general motor sevice garage - I wouldn't trust 'em.
