Default New Exhaust

Afternoon guy's,

I have just purchased a 3" Revolution system for my blob eye WRX along with a decat downpipe. Should i notice any difference in the way the car drives etc. Next up will be a remap.

Thanks

Hi Sean and welcome to the site!!

I dont mean to put a dampner on your first post but have you got other mods? You may find that a 3" system is not the best system for your car until your up around 400bhp. The 2.5" system provides the correct backpressure up to this kind of power. The 3" system will however be a bit louder and a bit deeper than a 2.5" system but may have a detrimental effect on power and delivery, it depends what you want.

By going to a decat system you will notice that the turbo spools up a bit earlier, and will come in smoother, as well as provide you with some extra power. Before you get your remap done you should invest in a decat uppipe and a panel filter.

Iain

Thanks Iain,

I will look into the panel filter and up-pipe before the remap,

Also, where can i get the plug etc that stops the CEL light coming on because of the de-cat?

Also, What kind of power are you looking at with:-

3" Revolution System
Decat Downpipe
Decat Up-Pipe
K&N Panel Filter
and a remap

On a blob eye WRX

if you add a walbro fuel pump into the mix you should be around 280 - 290, depending on how the exhaust effects things.

try these guys for your cel fix ASP TRADING MOTORSPORT UK
