Default 740cc Injectors.

I've been thinking about upgrading to a set of 740cc injectors for a while. I have a set of Zen Performance 550's at the moment which run around 90% max duty cycle. I want the 740's so my max duty cycle is alot lower.

Which are the best 740's to go for and where is the best place to get them from ?

You can get your 550's altered to run at 740 which would be cheaper

I am getting my 440's done next year.

Mocom will be organising mine for me, I forget the company they use. I believe Frayz, Trails and YVM (all ESC) are running flow uprated injectors.

Cost wise I can't remember but IRO £150 rings a bell.

Thanks for that mate

I think it would suit me better to just buy some 740's as i'm selling my 550's to a mate anyway.

So,which are the best 740's to for and where is the best place to get them from at the best price ?

£450 !! From what i've heard about flat4online i'll give those a miss,especially at that price

I'll try Zen and see what they can do. Otherwise i'll go fro the Andy Forrest ones. Do they come flow matched or is that not required ?

That was why i had put the comment about the delivery and the wink .

As for the flow matching you would need to ask Andy.

I thought them getting into the 90% area wasn't a good idea ?

Also, they are hitting 90% with the boost peaking at 1.55 bar and dropping to 1.2 bar above 6k rpm. With all the bits and pieces i'm planning on fitting,I want it to at least hold 1.5 bar all the way up and was thinking these injectors would be close to maxxed out at that point ?

90% not a problem.

with the planned upgrades then agreed 740s would be a good move

I was thinking that fitting the 740's means that I can't go wrong then. If when it's mapped again that it does hold more boost as planned then at least I know that the injectors have more headroom than what I currently have

In your opinion, for the money which are the best injectors to get ?

All the normal 740cc side feed injectors are a "Nissan" fit, and will either need the injectors cut about to fit the Subaru connectors, or there is a connector kit available, that just swaps with the original connectors.

I supply them with the 740 injectors.
