Looks good M8.

Are you going to have the UK rear spoiler fitted ?

I'm presently importing a silver WRX with rally seats (I'm bigger than you so if the seats are tight it's a good job I don't do much long distance travelling).

Are you having an alarm fitted in the UK ? If so are you having the same one as the UK versions or are you going for a different make ?

PS Love the front and rear under spoilers.

Thumbs up

Nice pics, and the color of the car looks great on photographs. Are you waiting for a WRC style rearspoiler or are you gonna live without some nice looking downforce?

(ps, Dutch interiors have the pedals on the left side. not sure about the steeringwheel either, i'll check that later)

Ooh, and yes, i'm getting used to the looks. At first i thought your baby was disgusting, ugly, blindeyed and more. Half the world still thinks it is. Then again... a few weeks ago i drove a MY01 through a town where children were playing on the street. I drove slowly past them and they stopped playing, watched the car and did a thumbs up. If kids think the car is cool, it must be. They are the ones with the open mind, the clear vision.. dammm, i remember being a carmaniac at that age.

I think it looks better without that squashed banana that I've seen spoiling (quite literally) the others.

Get some WRC-style quad lamps to replace the bug-eyes and you'll have a car that's almost decent.

(Did I really say that ?)

I thought it would be nice to read something about your newborn. They also did a competition on the Ring with an Audi S3, your baby did win that too.

sport auto Heft Nr.2/2001

Tracktest ImprezzaMY01 with VW Bora V6 4Motion, Audi RS 4, Porsche 911 Turbo, Mitsubishi Carisma GT EVO VI, BMW 330 xi

Well, that's German for the Impreza beats 'm all. It even beats the 4 german contenders.

Tracktime (kinda slow -partially icy- tarmac mountaintrack)

Subaru Impreza 57,2s
BMW 330 xi 1.01,0 min
Audi RS 4 58,1s
VW Bora V6 58,2s
Mitsubishi Carisma 59,9s
Porsche 911 Turbo 1.02,0 min
