Default if i need a new actuator,help!!

i went to hughberry garage in rickmonsworth like some of you recommended and paul was very helpful but we didnt find the problem to my boost leak!
he reckons that it is definately the actuator coming off the turbo but is not 100%.
i was looking on flebay and i saw a forge adujustable actuator, so my question is, is it worth getting one like this or just try and find a standard one??
he also said that if there was a leak in the pipes then it would have to be a massive hole to loose that much power!!
im really stumped and beginning to loose my temper with this car as no one knows whats wrong!
any help or advice and if any body has a spare actuator or td04 they want rid of!!!!
cheers

sorry i ment hes not 100% sure that it is definately just the actuator as he said that he thought most turbos only boost to around 0.5bar (but i thought it was more like 1bar) is the best thing i can do is to check/replace all the pipes/tubes that are connected to the turbo, boost solenoid etc???
