HI ALL, I HAVE RECENTLY BOUGHT A RED UK TURBO 1998 SUBARU SPORTSWAGON. ALWAYS WANTED A SCOOBY AND IM GOING TO START MODIFYING IT A BIT NOW. HAVEN'T GOT LOADS TO SPEND ON IT AT THE MOMENT BUT WOULD ANYBODY BE ABLE TO ADVICE ME ON THE BASIC THINGS TO DO TO IT AND WHAT THE BEST BITS ARE FOR EXAMPLE DUMP VALVE AND THE BEST ONE

The best dump valve you could possibly use is the standard one. Mods, a decent cat back exhaust, performance panel air filter, suspension bits, brakes. Then styling.

I'd also second the above, but put them in reverse order. Styling makes the car LOOK better but doesn't usually affect your insurance.
If you're going to start modding, the 98 cars need better brakes as a matter of priority, so I'd start there.
