What tolerance is allowed on 1K service
#1
I've booked my first service for 2 weeks from now but I'm worried that I will overshoot the 1K by then. Robinsons in Rochdale said it doesn't matter if it is a couple of hundred over.
Anyone know what effect this could have on Warrenty etc and how high can I take it over - 1,500 ?

I think somewhere it states that service must be within 1000 miles of the interval, doesn't differentiate between different intervals.
Mine was at 1600, no probs.

The first Scoob we bought second hand. It had exceeded the service mileage, don't remember by how much but it must have been significant cos:-
I rang Listers, the supplying/servicng dealer who said no probs. Contacted Subaru UK who agreed and faxed a statement to confirm that it would not affect any warranty claims. (Didn't have opportunity to test that as in three years ownership there wasn't a single problem)
Six monthly service intervals, I am assured have a thirty day limit. Dealers slotted it in first thing Christmas Eve to maintain the warranty.
PS Our car was a couple of hundred over the 1k, serviced seven days after collecting it!
