How many of you out there have a 50 litre petrol tank in a facelift 97my scooby turbo?I've been told all 97 my scoobs had a 60 litre tank but mine deffinately has not and only costs me 38 quid with sul to fill from ROCK BOTTOM.Just wondering if this is a one off case.

Unhappy

Went to fill my MY93 WRX up from rock bottom on Monday (had also been driving V. slowly for the previous 20 miles) and only managed to fit 40 litres in!!!

Normally squeeze in 45-ish litres, but my friend who also has a MY93 WRX regularly gets 52+ litres in his tank at fill-up.

I guess there must be some reserve somewhere.

I've also been told that you can get down into the middle bar of the 'E' before you have problems - but I've never been brave enough to try this!

I guess it also depends on if you use the cutout on the pump or then slowly trickly more fule in so its goes up the pipe to the petrol cap, that must be worth a couple of pints on its own.

Personaly I never look, I dont let the car get to below about 1/4 if I can help it [I dont want fuel starvation on bends etc] then fill it up again.

Does it really matter ??

UK94 ~ NEVER been able to put in more than 40 litres. Didn't the early Scoobs have a dinky tank ?

Did it very low once..to my peril.

I have to look for a petrol station at 1/4 tank cos it goes sooo flippin' quick.

Cool

I have a an MY97 scoob. I regularly fill it up from 'very' empty to the brim and get 55-56 litres in her. So a 60 litre tank seems about right!
