Hi all,im thinking of decatting my scoob,just want your opinions if its worth doing or not?ive heard you get about 20bhp from just doing the downpipe.Is that true and does it reduce lag? To what extent will fueling be effected?Ive got a import classic sti.cheers zaf

im up for it but i dont want it to effect the fueling too much..not sure how it will be after, any ideas anyone??

i also looked into this and found out you need
downpipe
up pipe
and finally a remap
one company also recommended uprated fuel pump

also with decat will not pass MOT, what have others done?

Would appreciate any advice on this topic.

im not really looking to go as far as a remap, theres already a hks exhaust on it and air filter,just want to make the exhaust completly 'free flow' for the sound and performance.

wont do anything mate.. well didnt to mine..

HUGE noticable difference from a full decat... i gained 50bhp from just 2 mods.. full decat and fmic

thx for ur post mate,think ill probably go for it..the car came with a hks mushroom filter, they any good??
