in a couple of weeks i am going to look at a mcrae, it has done 115000 miles,is this high for this engine? Would it be worth bothering with?

I don't care what anybody says about Scoob engines - i wouldn't buy one with that mileage unless it had had a re-build Even if the engine had been re-built, you have to consider that the rest of the car has done 115k

If its got a good history and been serviced regular i cant see a problem.

thats the problem he tells me there was service history when he went to look at the car ,by the time he bought it the history was lost. it has been serviced at powerstation since he has owned it.
