Exclamation Help with STI INTERCOOLER on a WRX 02

Hi,

Really needing some help
Managed to remove wrx intercooler and installed sti intercooler(second hand)
Everything seems to be ok and the temp doesnt rise at all but when hitting around 4k revs a whistle is heard from the intercooler which was not there before.
It sounds like someone breathing through their nose sharply when got a cold(almost a restricted sound)
I was given the y piping with the sti intercooler.
Not sure what it is, left the car running idle for 15 mins and temp remained the same.
I have also installed sti undertray and rubber- could this be it?

Cheers

or could it be a hole in the samco piping to the turbo?
Or is this normal?
