Smile

hiya all,

A few quick questions that will make me seem like a buffoon but who cares, someone has to ask.

1) Can you just turn up and watch? (Makes me sound like a perv)

2) Duya have to turn up in a scooby? (I dont get mine until 01.03.2001)

3) My company gave me a Vecra SRI to tide me over until then. Am i allowed to swear at anyone taking the p**s and decline without loosing face when challenged to a sociable lap or two? HaHaHa

4) How duya put the smiley faces on ya messages and last but not least

5) Me bird loves cars(Quite handy in em too!) Can she come along?

Catcha around. How many of you are from Notts?

Quick fire answers are

1. yes

2. no

3. yes but park it out the way

4. when replying click to the left of the main text field where it says smilies legend

5. absolutly

hint :- get chatting when you get there, go along to the drivers briefing even if you aren't driving so you get an idea whats going to happen, sign on as a passenger (usally free) and get some passenger laps in

Cool

Mikey,

Paul has done a fine job with your question's.

There are quite a few Midland boys who attend the meets and usually four or five leave from Nottingham for track days, logiclee, salsa-king, craigamungus, audiodave and Mike Tuckwood.

You will not regret coming along, although you may get left behind in the Vectra.

Something Paul did forget is that if you want a ride, then you require a crash helmet!

Mikey,

The following people are not recommended for passenger laps as a novice:

Stef
Danny Fisher
John Felstead

You have been warned

Ooops, should have remembered that really, especially after the debacle at the Autocar organised trackday I was at recently. The idiots who organised the day (Autocar journos) forgot to mention crash helmets in their instructions. As this was a trackday with a lot of novices on it........ 20 odd helmets needed to be borrowed.

Oh did I mention that this was organised by Autocar?.....idiots

Those guys i would recommend for the thrill. Go in Johns car with an open faced helmet, everything turns to a blur, going down Cramer with John is like being at the front of a fappin big rollercoaster as it goes over the edge :. LOL. With Stef the car is always sideways . LOL. I have not been out with Danny, but if hes anything like John and Stef, it would be scary but fun. They all know how to handle their cars and more.

I would recommend. He He

Red face

Errrm, ooops. Hi Danny, Hi Yex! 22B's, always got summat to prove ain't they?
Track days are a great laugh, but fappin cold when you aren't out - make sure the GF wraps up warm, or she won't want to come to another.
Cheers

Yex, you wouldn't know what I drive like on a track!

Just because you keep lapping me.

Dan

Edited to add:- I'm the only person I know of that can park sideways at Coppice, ask Tim Taylor what it was like?

John,

I think the description of a lap or two in your beastie from TypeR is a dead give away although I'd like to take you up on a passenger run one day if available - I'll bring my sick bag

Danny,

The only thing I lap on a track is the pit lane Having followed you down to Cheltenham I don't want to follow you round a confined area

Regards

Yex - back on track day duty soon

Yes, have a look at either the event section on the Sidc website, or look under the Track forum. I posted the Trackzone dates in there.
Dated the 13th Jan

I'm at Dono on the 18th, and I might do the April day to.
