UR Quattro turbo buying ?

Coming from a Quattro Turbo to a Scooby, I loved it greatly, but sadly it was a bit like a ship in a storm in the handling dept.
Quite quick, sounded fantastic.

Truely fanstastic "rustic" hard as nails car ~ but when they go wrong you need a visa with plenty of credit available

Cheers

Classic and Sports Car Magazine did a big article a few years ago (I think in 1996).

I think reprints are available.

Bugger, bugger, bugger!

I can't bloody find any of them. I have got it as I only looked at the Audi buyng guide last month (put off by the huge bills, £100 for spark plugs!!!!)

I'll turn the house over at the weekend and find it for you.

If you require I've got some magazines with UR Quattro tests somewhere at my parents. If you want I can find 'em and scan in the articles.

Might be a couple of weeks though.

Cheers

My introduction to Quattro ownership reflected the costs quite well. Driving along the electronic dash went out followed by a column of electronic components smelling smoke !

£400 I think to have it repaired....
Give it some credit it was 14 years old !

Cheers Mark/Marks!, Rich,

Any Info will be useful, and I dont mind the wait as I'm not due to start on the 'project' until a couple of weeks time.

Thanks again,
