I dont use the site nearly as much as I should so I cant really comment too deeply. However, the fact the site is still running and operating relatively problem free is proof that someone is doing something to keep it doing so. For the problems this site helps me solve from time to time its worth the fiver or ten, cant even remember how much it is... lol

I wouldn't pay again simply as I don't really use the site as much.

i've just renewed mine, although there was a few problems getting my plus membership, the advice i get from this site is invaluable in helping me decide what is best for my car.

For example if i need to buy something or take my car to get some work done than this site has saved me more than the membership fee on good places to buy/go.

I don't have to renew mine

To be honest when I first joined up as a plus member I didn't even own a Subaru (and don't now) I did so because I had been a member on the site for years, I'd met some great people and learned a lot and figure that nothing is free in life so I gave something back

i dont think you get value for money compared to the other sites iam a member of. i even got a welcome pack from the other one iam a member of and a membership card. this sites always slow and i keep getting blank pages.
and every time i need info i could just search google. so i dont really benefit from the search. so i cant see what iam getting for the money.

Despite all the recent and in some cases ongoing issues with the site and the lack of admin input etc. it is still worth my subscription so I will renew.

My Plus membership ran out a while back, I took it out just before the sale of the site when everything was rosey and getting regularily updated. When the promised features stopped coming I decided to stop paying for the Plus membership. I still have the 'orange member' membership but only took this out for the 'regular' draws which have stopped, if I knew they weren't going to last, I wouldn't have spent the £10.

i wont pay again, the site has gone down hill badly imo! little things like the car not being changed daily on the home page(or even yearly!) **** link on the home page for all to see, banter getting out of hand,i'm all for a laugh and get many looking through hampshire subaru site BUT they all no the line, most of the time lol, so imo this site is not worth paying for anymore as all these little things add up and if they dont care any more why should any one else?

I renewed last time because of the :

Prize Draws
Access all area's
New features like featured scoobs etc (okay they are free to all people but you get the drift )
Search function
Offers

Now I see no point as the site has just stalled and it seems that the extra makes no difference, so I say No for me

As a newbie I wouldn't waste my money.
The 'Front Page' on newspapers sell papers and this one is VERY OLD NEWS
Gives me the feedback on how this site is run and updated

Oh my God will I receive an Infraction for this?
Are there any spelling mistakes in my post?
Woz the grammer I used like wot others speak?
Did I uz txt spk at ny tym?
Worst still will I sleep to night worrying over it..........NO!
Because it didn't cost me a penny.

If I had paid then I would be VERY P**sed OF* and felt

I've been involved with cars, clubs and sites over many years and always given back, however, this site has left me wondering where, when and what it will do?

This is a great site but the rot has set in and there are loads of other great sites moving in on SN's 'action' IMHO

It has dedicated, loyal and passionate members. I wonder if the same could be said of those running this site

Just my opinion as a newbie.........hey what do I know

on the basis that it's just taken me 40+ seconds from clicking the link to this thread to it actually opeing and being able to read and post on it, i wont be renewing my subscription, and as far as i am concerned, we should organise a scoobynet boycott until they sort the site out properly, the only problem being it would take so long for anyone to topen the boycott htread that they would probably steer clear anyway

Maybe its in the wording of the poll options

I selected not a chance, but that doesnt mean I wont ever pay again, just I wont in the current climate

I dont love sn either, so the choice was very limited

My Plus membership ran out a couple of weeks ago, and to be honest, I'm not missing it much. If I'm really keen to search I can use Google, the homepage is a joke, where's the regular competitions, and no offence to Cockneywideboy but come on, CHANGE THE BLOODY THING! So, at the moment, no I won't be renewing, and I've voted as such.

I've not been on here long, as can be seen, but I think some of the negatives that get spoken of so freely come from technical issues such as slow running, and then things like the sites administration, monitoring and application.(The basics people need in a reliable paid for forum)
I don't see it as an expensive site to be a member of, but don't consider it to be particularly good value, just better than the others.
I suppose I put my money up front as an act of faith, hope that things will improve/ calm down.
With some many members (this is a HUGE membership) the dissaffected often speak loudest. As it is I won't renew, but then theres about 10 months for it to improve (Said he with crossed fingers!)
As said, I rate this site as better than the others purely for the helpful, friendly members, and the fact help is rarely long waited for.
But, that help does not need to be paid for, as users can access it just as easily, and that is what those running the site need to see.
We'll see what happens....
