Did any vid footage of Simons World Reccord sliding antics ever get put up on a web site.

Monitored the threads on this for ages an nothing seemd to get done. Now I can't do a search on this either.

By no means am i taking the p1ss.... but why would you want to see a car go round and round and round for 2h 17mins??????????? id like to see the edited highltights tho I want to see the bit where he finally loses it!!

That would be the DULLEST video of all time I think

Even the last bit where the fuel ran out, the car just straightened up and I kind of went "Oh.. erm.. that's it then"

I thought it was exciting, especially the bit where every 10 minutes i sprinted to the water jet control panel and pressed the buttons. We should have that bit in slow mo.

 

Don't forget the every 10 minutes John having to remind me to tell Si on the radio that another 10 minutes had elapsed.

The bit when the car started to overheat was exciting though

I'm sure Max Mosley would say the suspense of waiting for the fuel to run out is the spectacle.
