Default Where I can get some new Diff? Or better get LSD instead?

I got a impreza 2000 turbo 1998, when i drives round the corner very slowly or when i parking my car had my wheels on full lock, A very loud clonking coming from the left back wheel. Had my car checked they said my back diff is wore out!

To get it proper check not buying the diff they asking about over £300, two different garages said that, i was thinking if i pay £300 to check it my as well just get the new diff, BUT a standard diff will cost me around 400pounds, which i can cusco LSD is around £600, should i get the LSD instead, if that the case is any on know where i can get some and where i can get it fix cheap?

Many thanks!!

All turbocharged Imprezas have a rear LSD. I think that the best advice for you would be to contact a firm like API, who know what they have, what you need; and who can be trusted not to lift your leg.
