Wheel alignment/geometry for 05 sti
As title, can anybody tell me if the settings are the same of the 03 and 05 sti ?
I think it is not the same as the 05 sti has different suspension. I had a geometry setup done and it doesn't feel good, and on the paper generated by the computer is written 2003 sti onwards...

My guess is that it will be different due to the suspension difference and also the 05 sti has a wider track though not sure whether that would make much of a difference.I had my 05 STi Spec C set up at powerstation but as i havent had an 03 car i couldnt comment on any differences

The Subaru wk shop manuals show the same geometry set-up for all new age turbo’s.
If you have had your car set-up with equipment that is using Subaru's figures, you could well find that it is not the best setting for your car.
The factory settings allow for a degree of tolerance & inherently will dial "understeer" & possibly a "light steering" feel into the car.
you would be much better off going to a specialist & having either, Prodrive's suggested set up or a Fast Road setting dialled in, the difference would amaze you & will make it a completely different car to drive!!

I just interchanged my wheels(back to front and vice versa) and the funny thing is now it is pulling to the right quite hard, and before was pulling to the left. I really wonder if my wheels or tyres have the same weight. Other than this it stays decently in the curves.

There is nothing to stop you dialing in Prodrive's settings on std suspension, you just won't get the full benifit without the altered spring rates & lower center of gravity (lower ride height), but there will still be a big improvement in handeling over the factory settings.
If you have a problem with the car pulling to one side & this has altered by swapping wheels/tyres around, then you have a problem with either a wheel or tyre.
I assume that you have swapped left to right as well as front to back as the car now pulls the other way.
This could be caused by things such as, uneven wear or on a particular tyre or uneven pressures.
If it was a geometry problem, then swapping wheels around would not tend to make a difference.

I have only swapped the back wheels with tyre to the front and tyres are quite new, covered 10k km and I don't see uneven wear. I just been out for a spirited driving and checked the tyre pressures and car now defenetively pulls to the right This is so weird, after swapping wheels on the side from pulling lightly to the left now pulls to the right. You might be right and the tyres weight might be different, as with the old tyres I had no problem. In the curves I can still go very fast. Tyres are goodyear f1 assymetric.
I'm thinking to try out the prodrive setting, do you know the settings by any chance ? And won't these settings wear my yres unevenly ?
