Default SVA Imports?

Hi, just a quick query, im planning on buying a car from an importer called SVA Imports, it looks really clean, utterly ideal for what im after, good mileage and the chap there has been really good with getting me pictures etc.

With me being in Aberdeen and him being in Dorset im keen on getting the car transported up, the bloke at SVA Imports has got me a quote and is happy to go down that route which is sensationally good of him.

Basically im just wondering if anyone else has used this place and how they got on, i cant fault the guy so far, hes been an utter legend but thought i would ask the question before i part with my hard earned

Cheers for any response

Ross

My friend got his Evo 4 from there, which is very tidy.

Maybe you should ask for the auction grade or the sheet if you haven't done so already. Personally though i'd get something a bit closer to home as if something goes wrong with it, will you have the time to get it trailored all the way down to Dover? Or the money for that matter.

The whole point of buying from a trader in my eyes is the extra you pay is for the warranty given. What car was it out of interest as I was down there a month or so ago and might of seen it.

Somewhat biased view as the chap who runs it is related to the Father in Law (therefore I guess the wife as well, but its all a bit distant!) who has had a couple of cars off him, both been very good, but then you don't poo in your own back yard!

I bought a JDM WRX from them a few years back and was pleased with the car and the deal.
One slight word of caution, whilst SVA were really helpful and obliging, I did have to take the car back a couple of times as small things I had been told would be done before I picked the car up weren't done. This included the de-limiter and also refitting the HID headlights which were removed to get through the sva test. The guys did this without any fuss but I lived 10 minutes away - your journey would be slightly longer if the car wasn't specced excatly as you had requested

They're about a mile up the road from me. Always have lots of tidy stuff knocking around in there.

Popped in some time back and were very helpful and seemed knowledgeable.
