I was unsure when I bought it to be honest as it was standard.
But I have slowly put her together and im almost finished.
Black mud flaps sounds like the answer...cheers! Although I would like a set of custom made flaps in red mica...dont know if its possible though.
Once I get it to about 320bhp ill be happy

Fast car in white=result!!!
You still sitting at about 270 bhp on standard turbo.....I want to take step up but its a lot of money for a little gain tbh!!

i went for colour coded flaps too at first,but they soon looked tatty due to the weather. so ive gone for scooby world mud flaps,great quallity.
the splitter is a HT Auto's one,again great quality and perfect fit. yeah 270bhp at the min,thats with a full turbo back de-cat exhaust,walbro fuel pump and ecutek remap. my cars gone from a satndard 215bhp to 270bhp.
im just in the middle of saving to get it to around 320bhp, ill need Sti top mount,vf34,550 injectors, then another map

Yeah the flaps on your car look good mate.
Ht splitter is prob my next purchase to be honest.

Difference really is night and day!!
God I need to start saving.......what you reckon.......bout a grand?

It was really the insurance at the time mate.
The evo was stolen and written off- so my insurance was going up.
At the time could get a wrx with 20,000 mile for the same price as a sti with 50,000. Also insurance would be an extra 500 pounds per year.
Just one of those things mate, only thing I miss if the diff settings to be honest. The rest I can mod up !! lol
Do you know if my 290bhp wrx would be faster than the evo V I had?

Do any of your cars back fire randomly?
Mine doesnt seem to- although dont think i have my turbo up pipe decatted.
Down pipe is.

Your car looks tidy..........like everyone else mate bet its your pride and joy!!!
Like the fact you have the gauges mate, are they hard to fit them? Makes a difference inside the cabin.
Any of you upgraded your stereo at all? If so what you got?

yep my pride and joy missis go nuts at me spending money on it 
the gauges i got you can only get from japan genome ones, i wanted them to light up green to match the rest of the dash so had to get them secondhand no wiring diagram but very straight forward to fit just take your time thay look cool though.
cant wait now till i get all me bits for my engine and that remap
hopefully 330bhp should be quick

Hiya.. Love the colour of your bug, very very nice.. Black flaps def the way to go.. get your Mrs a scooby, that'll solve it, you'll compete then.. Mine pops and bangs a lot, I love it, sometimes its so so loud sounds like a gun going off, makes me chuckle as innocent bystanders jump..childish I know, but it amuses me no end! I had it mapped again recently and was concerned I'd lose the popping but I spoke to the mapper (Pat Hurbourne) and he said he'll do me a pop and bang map .

I was gutted i could not make the tribute day...was working
Hope the decals work, i seem to think so....not gonna flood the car with stickers though- can get too busy on the eye!
Kinda ties in with the gold wheels though

it says impreza, its already on your car mate under the WRX,just leave it on and remove the WRX bit. i used strong cotton to cut behind the letters (sticky pads) then u used intence tar remover to get rid of the excess glue. you could use a hair dryer to heat the pads slightly which will make it easier
