sorry wrong section but want quick answer (if poss)

Just swapped over the headlight (angels!!)

main lights are working - straight plugin

side light (angels) have 4 thin black and red wires, straight forward enough but
there are 2 thick wires, one black and one white
what do I do with these before I mess about

just installed and seen they do still have the same side lights fitting if wanted so have used these whilst I workout what I do with the angel bits

can you not wire the angels up to the side lights, or if you wanted have a seperate switch so you can have them on or off,
