Default just a quick ?

what sort of power would a standard wrx take, what sort of bhp and the same with a sti ?

Depends on what you want to spend. mine has 280bhp, same torque (ish) and is a 2001 WRX. I erred on the side of safety rather than turning things up too much.

so it would b fine about 280-290 and the bottom end would b ok lol

A WRX would probably be fine for mid 300's with supporting mods.

Yeah. my garage chap keeps trying to talk me into a new turbo etc (which I will no doubt end up doing) but he said that will take me up to the limit of the internals at 350.
