Plenty of better exhausts for similar prices imho, such as Blitz, H&S, etc etc.

Had Blitz Nur Spec-r and Scoobyworld's Ninja system fitted on previous Scoobs, both better than the afore mentioned Cobra equipment

would a 3" bore and and 4" tail pipe Cobra backbox sound quite loud? I've got a decat downpipe as well but the normal middle section.

My TSL is too quiet for me

yes they are quite loud but you could always get a bung to fit in the tailpipe if the neighbours kick off.

the tail pipe is nice and the back box, the quality of the welds fine.. the lack of joins is good for flow but can be a pain to remove / refit..

tghe main issue is the lack of open neck on the turbo fitment imho.. restricts wastegate flow like the original

Got a 3" middle, 5" tail....with a decat.....boy it's loud enough I can tell you that. I see there is only one or two objections on this thread (excl. JGM), and going by their write up, it makes me question whether these individuals have actually had the experience of this exhaust .

Trust me, I've had no probs on mine and it's pushing out some good horses now!

Firstly I have a 3" into 4.5" pipe and I think it's excellent value for money!

In response to GC8 the quality seems excellent (barely visable welds lovels polishing etc) the price is excellent so **** knows what you mean there, under £200 for a pipe made to your own requirements ??? who else does it for that (in my case I wanted a specific box with 4.5" inch tail 3 inch pipe, straight exit, slash cut with a flame burnt tip!), the firm (that's because if I remember correctly you had a bad experience with them personally, although you didn't buy anything, in my case I found them really helpfull, and to have a pipe made for you and delivered next day I think is bloody superb and that includes me ringing back to change my mind twice and they still got it right), and the people were great see previous answer.

If you've never owned one how on earth can anyone really comment (obviously working on them is also fine), it's just the normal buy this brand name or that brand name.

I'll answer Jag as that quote by yourself was referring to me.

Not so much the exhaust itself, but more so what you could buy for the same money. Hense why in my expereince, othing beats as previously mentioned by myself and others, the quality of the H&S/Blitz/Ninja/Afterburner etc etc.

If I remember correctly, I had a Cobra exhaust on that horrible Cinqucento I was lumbared with while the old Scoob was getting a new gearbox. That was a horrible fitting rattly raspy thing. Maybe the car it was on, but part of the basis for my opinion.

So I would rather have an excellent fitting exhaust made especially for a Scoob then say get a custom Cobra job that needs fettling. Again thats just my opinion, but if I Had £400 for a catback system etc, I'd buy Blitz

I wanted a blitz, and was happy to pay the £460 for the full system, but after hearing Jag's when he got his done, it gave me the sound i wanted and the looks, so it was easier to get the cobra and save some coin,

Choc - The cobra's don't cost no way near £400.....I paid less than £300 and it seems to work on mine. Perhaps it was the Cinqucento?? For the light weight one (4.5" tail) it's only slightly more but well below £400.

I think Cobra are good value for money. I am sure Blitz (Nur Spec) has it's own advantages and are very good from what I have heard.

Without a mandrel bender, they cant actually manufacture anything..... That means that it was all bought in.

Possibly. I went for Blitz for the sound and also the reputation on here.

On this thread a couple of posters (me included) have questioned Cobra products for whatever reason. I don't think I've ever heard one complaint about Blitz. Plus me personally, I prefer a straight out the box fit system, not a custom job where each system is different.

I'm sure my neighbours would not put up with the sound of the Nur-Spec! ...besides I would not be able to afford it!
